This Privacy Policy outlines the privacy practices of SN’Z Clinic and applies to the personal data of our clients and anyone who contacts us through the reception channels described below. If you do not agree with the content of this policy, please do not provide us with your personal data.
By accepting this Privacy Policy, you fully agree to its terms and also freely and expressly consent to SN’Z Clinic processing your information in accordance with strict international safety and protection standards, such as the ISO27001 Information Security Management System and the requirements of the European Community's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. DEFINITIONS:
- “Personal Data” is information that can be used to identify you, directly or indirectly, alone or in conjunction with other information. This includes information such as your full name, email address, and phone number, among others;
- “Sensitive Personal Data” refers to data that reveals racial or ethnic origin, genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of unequivocal personal identification, data concerning health status or sex life.
2. DATA COLLECTION:
SN’Z Clinic uses the following channels for receiving and creating data for clients and all individuals who contact us through our data reception channels:
- Form in the website site www.snzclinic.pt, to fill in;
- email sent directly to geral@snzclinic.pt;
- Social media accounts in Facebook and Instagram;
- Internal systems for recording and monitoring treatment.
The following Personal Data can be received and created:
- Full Name;
- Birthdate;
- Tax number;
- Full address;
- Marital status;
- Number of children;
- Profession;
- Business;
- Work phone number;
- Home phone number;
- Mobile phone number;
- Email;
- photographs.
The following sensitive Personal Health Data may be received and created:
- Reason for the consultation;
- Goal expectations;
- Areas, types and characteristics of pain;
- Habits and Behaviors;
- Medical diagnoses;
- Record of treatment progress.
- SN’Z Clinic treats children, always with parental consent, and therefore handles children's Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data with the same protection and security as adult data.
3. DATA USAGE AND CONDUCT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SN’Z Clinic processes Personal Data and sensitive Personal Data (collects, creates, stores, and accesses) for the purpose of diagnosing spinal problems and identifying the best way to correct them, allowing our professionals to monitor the progress of their patients and effectively continue their Chiropractic treatment, so that they become healthier and have a better quality of life;
- SN’Z Clinic also uses personal data for contact purposes, to schedule/confirm appointments, schedule lectures, send exam results via email and other information regarding treatments and clinic events, send congratulations or information about other activities;
- No data will be shared with third parties. Exceptions are made in cases where the information is required by law or court order, or where there is explicit consent from the client who owns the data in question;
- All SN’Z Clinic employees who have access to Client data are required to maintain confidentiality regarding that data;
- All employees are subject to disciplinary action for the violation or illegal transmission of received data. This responsibility will be determined through disciplinary proceedings that may culminate in sanctions provided for in the labor code.
4. DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY:
- Protecting your privacy is very important to us. SN’Z Clinic values the protection of the information entrusted to us. We are fully aware that this data belongs to our Clients and we will use it specifically in accordance with what has been consented to;
- We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect against unauthorized or unlawful processing of personal data and sensitive personal data, and against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or improper access;
- Only employees and chiropractors who need the information to carry out the diagnostic and treatment process have access to personal data and sensitive personal data, which are stored and managed in secure technological environments;
- However, please be advised that we cannot completely eliminate the security risks associated with the processing of personal data and sensitive personal data. In the unlikely event of a security breach, the relevant authorities will be notified within 72 hours, and the client whose data is affected will also be informed;
- By accepting this document, the client acknowledges and agrees that SN’Z Clinic may disclose their data when required by public authorities to comply with any applicable legislation, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

- SN’Z Clinic may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When this happens, the issue date and version of the Privacy Policy will be changed accordingly, and we will only notify you of significant updates;
- Continued access to and use of our services after the updates constitutes agreement with and commitment to the new Privacy Policy.
